BALANCED CANTILEVER FORMWORK
In this method bridge piers and the first segment of the bridge beam(also called hammerhead) are constructed in situ by a suitable formwork.Afterwards form travelers are assembled to each side of pier to pour segments from 3 to 5 meters.
