RESIDENTIAL TUNNEL FORMWORK

Residential tunnel formwork is an in-situ concreting system, allowing to pour walls and slabs together by big scale formwork panels. The bearing walls and slab system of the building is formed by standard forms, foundations, roofs and finishing jobs are done by traditional methods. Internal partition and external transverse opening walls are usually built by precast panels. With this system walls on one direction can be poured. From the open ends, form assemblies are taken out and crane-lifted to the next location. The weight of forms are between 60-70 kg/m2 Form dimensions differ by the design standards of the clients, and the production methods of the suppliers.
Tunnel Formwork basically comprises of the following components:
Facing is 3 mm.cold-rolled steel plate.
There is a steel caging at the inner side to provide rigidity and prevent deformations.
The wall+slab assembly has props to stabilise and carriages to move the formwork.
Curtains and heaters are used for fast curing.
